Warranty Vault Privacy Policy

Warranty Vault helps you keep your receipts and reminds you before return windows and warranties end. It is designed so your receipts stay yours: we do not collect, store, sell or share any of your personal data.

Information the app stores

• Receipts you add. Photos, PDFs, text, and details such as store name, purchase date, total, items, order number and notes are stored on your device.
• iCloud backup. If you're signed in to iCloud, your receipts sync to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so they're backed up and available on your other devices. Apple secures this data, and the developer cannot access it.
• On-device processing. Reading text from receipt images and PDFs happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your receipts are never uploaded to any server operated by us.

Information we collect

None. Warranty Vault has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or software development kits. We don't operate servers that receive your data.

Permissions

• Camera: used only to scan paper receipts when you choose to.
• Photos: the app can see only the photos you choose in the system photo picker.
• Notifications: used to remind you before return and warranty deadlines. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Sharing receipts into the app

When you share a PDF, image or text to Warranty Vault from another app (such as Mail or Files), it's processed on your device and saved only to your Warranty Vault receipts.

Deleting your data

Delete a receipt in the app to remove it from your device and your iCloud account. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. To remove its iCloud data, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Warranty Vault.

Children's privacy

Warranty Vault doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
